Tucked into the grounds at Bait Shaker, our much-loved mini zoo is home to a family of friendly, gentle animals the kids can meet up close. It’s one of the simplest joys here — and one of the biggest reasons families make the thirty-five-minute trip from Amman.
Cared for with love — never just for show
Every animal in our care is looked after daily by a team that genuinely loves them — well fed, comfortable and at home in the fresh mountain air. We keep things calm, gentle and respectful, so every visit is a happy one for the animals and the children alike.
Little ones and grown-ups, equally charmed
Toddlers meeting an animal for the very first time, older kids learning their names, grandparents smiling from the shade — the mini zoo has a way of winning everyone over. It’s gentle, unhurried and wonderfully real.
Set among the oak trees and olive groves
Our animals live where we do — surrounded by oak forest, olive groves and open mountain air in Al-Subaihi, Al-Salt, an easy thirty-five minutes from Amman. It’s a world away from a city zoo, and all the better for it.

The mini zoo sits steps from our supervised kids’ play area and kids’ ATV track — so one visit easily turns into a whole day of things for the little ones to love.
